Design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
My name is Cedelle, and I grew up in a creative household. My father, an architect, exposed us to art, architecture, and design, inspiring me to notice beauty, proportion, and detail. By Grade 11, winning Best Art Student confirmed my path.
I studied graphic design at Stellenbosch University, blending traditional skills with digital tools – a foundation that still shapes my approach today.
Thirty years. One constant.
My early career was creative and energising, from agency days to starting my own studio with friends. Over time, business operations – meetings, admin, staff, finances – took precedence, distancing me from the creative work that first drew me in.
After years in business, I stepped back, rediscovered my creative spark, and returned to freelancing with a fresh perspective.
Starting again – differently
I took a year away from work and asked myself a very honest question: Do I still want to do this? My passion for design never vanished – it was simply buried by years of running a business.
I made a decisive change, returning to freelancing with select clients, deeper projects, and a creative-driven pace.
What I do now
I work independently, partnering with founders and teams who value strategic, thoughtful design to help them achieve impactful results. I keep my client base small, so each project receives dedicated attention and tailored solutions that drive measurable impact.
Decades in, I remain passionate about design – and ready to bring your vision to life.
